Here is a retro casino inspired wedding invitation. With red and black, vintage font, and card suits, this makes for a cool Vegas wedding stationery for a rockabilly couple.

I created this cool card for people who want to send a love note, anniversary card, or congrats without being cliche and sappy. Slightly grungy, slightly punk, slightly rockabilly, whatever you wanna call it….with faded blue splatters, splattered red and black swallows carrying banners with two names of your choice in tattoo letters, this is a unique “I Love You”/Anniversary/Congratulations card.

Punk Wedding Invitation-Distressed Riot

Ok, so being a super big “real” punk fan (and by real I mean The Dead Kennedys, Misfts, Rancid, the Clash…I could go on for days) I am extremely hesitant to brand anything as “punk.” Especially a wedding invitation. Being a part of “underground” culture, it’s easy to be exploited and marketed. However, when making this invite, I really couldn’t describe it any other way….

With splatters and distressed font, and even an awesome black rhinestone, I think this makes a killer punk wedding invitation.

As usual, I have coresponding designs for Save the Dates, thank you cards, and more, including postal stamps.

Here is one invitation and matching RSVP sets with a rockabilly inspired theme. I think it’d go great for any hip couples having a rockabilly styled wedding. Stay tuned for more work and styles, and I’m more than happy to make custom orders.

The first- Sailor Tattoo Blue, with tattoo letters, nautical stars, baby blue, and swirly scrolls, has a great vintage style.

I took a stroll through a local cemetery the other day, with my camera of course. I took so many pictures. I dig graveyards, and I enjoy reading headstones. I prefer taking pictures of all the details and tying everything in together…I snapped photos of fences, names, quotes, and more. I created this digital “collage” of just a sample of the details I caught.

Boy am I excited about this wedding invitation I just finished designing. It has the perfect eery quality to it.

I don’t see many invitations catering to subcultures or awesomely themed weddings, especially not without an outrageous pricetag. I hope some hip couple can make use of this unique, goth inspired, macabre wedding invitation for a slinkster cool dark wedding or Halloween wedding.
